Print Process

All photographs are digitally mastered in Photoshop and then printed with an Epson Stylus Pro9800 printer
using Ultrachrome K3 ink.  These high-gamut pigmented inks have vibrant colors that will last for
generations under normal display conditions.  The hand-crafted Prints are printed on either Epson
Professional Enhanced Matte paper or on Brilliance Chromata White canvas.  All photographs printed on
matt paper are matted with acid free, archival materials.  Canvas prints are allowed to dry and then given a
heavy coat of Glamour II varnish to add protection and to enhance the color and depth of the image.  This
allows the canvas to be cleaned with a damp cloth and gives it the appearance of a painting when
compared to a matted print.  Canvas prints are offered stretched (gallery wrapped) or unstretched.

Gallery Wrap

Gallery wrap is a type of stretching that allows you to hang the canvas directly on the wall, no mounting or
framing is needed.  With a gallery wrap, the canvas is wrapped around the edge of ¾” kiln-dried spruce
wood stretcher bars for the 11”x14” size and 1-¾” bars for larger sizes.

Unstretched Canvas

Stretching canvas is typically the way that canvases are displayed.  However, we also offer unstretched
canvas that comes rolled in a tube for you to stretch on your own, or to display as you wish.
